A stormy sunset photo of the iconic Merrick and Mitten Buttes. The mitten like appearance of the two buttes on the left is the reasoning for their name. The iconic Mesa Arch from Moab, Utah... one of the most photographed icons of the SW if not the US. I thought the snow in the foreground and the movement of the clouds, created by long exposure, added a unique perspective to this tried and true shot. Shot on a medium format camera, this picture looks amazing as a large print!
