Rebirth of Lost
In 2021 I fractured my leg at Rocky Mountain National Park and Required emergent evacuation and ultimately surgical repair. Although Lost Lake is roughly 2 miles from the trailhead, this marked my first hike after an arduous recovery. But really the hardest part of the hike was trying to wrangle our young golden retriever, Ollie and getting him to cooperate while I looked for a compelling composition.
