In the winter of 2022 I cross country skied to Mayflower Gulch. While waiting for the sunset I had time to sit, think and explore the surrounding landscape. I find that time and repeated visits to the same location is the only way to capture these more intimate, abstract scenes, such as this branch reaching up above the snow.
