Abstract Steamboat Leaf

For a few special weeks in Colorado, Aspens change color and lose their leaves. The obvious composition is the stunning landscape with leaves of gold. In what was one of my first attempts at more intimate scenes, my eye was drawn not only to the water droplets on a yellow aspen leaf, but also the stark textured wood in the background, making what I hope is a compelling photography.
